Environmental Engineer

Summary
As an Environmental Engineer in Brazil, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with both regulatory and company-specific environmental laws and standards, both on-site and off-site. In this role, you will report directly to the Chief Environmental Officer and will be expected to conduct comprehensive and detailed analyses of current environmental practices and processes. Your responsibilities will include assessing environmental impacts, developing and implementing remediation strategies and promoting sustainable practices across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
You will monitor the entire construction cycle, ensuring that all environmental regulations and protocols are strictly adhered to. You will analyse current workflows to develop an in-depth understanding of bottlenecks and potential environmental risks associated with specific protocols. Your role will be to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to mitigate environmental impacts throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Skills
Environmental regulatory experience, preferably for 5 years or more.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Full fluency in industry-specific environmental software.
Ability to work as part of a flexible and adaptable team.
